Our Direction
Ambient Clothing is very much in its early stages of its existence. We want to bring you surreal designs that are high quality, reasonable cost while trying to minimise impact to the earth.
Our Aim
We are currently completing our first collection and will be looking to add more in the future. We will do our best to make our product ranges as carbon neutral as possible, but we do have limitations down to business size/cost. We are pleased to say that all packaging is bio-degradable or recyclable. As a small business we would love to grow our product range, possibly adding sports/active wear and additional accessories. It would be amazing for Ambient Clothing to be in a position to employ people to work for us (its currently just me!).
Why Ambient?
Ambient can have many forms from music, light or even the mood. My view is living as if we are Ambient, existing in your own or relating to our immediate surroundings. The importance of what is around us. Being present in the now and feeling connected to the surroundings through our senses. The understanding of fulfilment and being grateful.
I started Ambient Clothing because I didn’t want to work in corporate environments where I was unable to be my authentic self. My experience lacked creativity, freedom and expression. The tipping point was losing my job for reasons that were completely out of my control. I'd had enough. I ran a friends tattoo studio for some time which re-inspired my creativity and the entrepreneur in me. I’m now working towards building something that I can be proud of, whilst enabling freedom, security and control of my future decisions. I want to have a life where my environment and surroundings contribute to my happiness, creativity, physical and mental wellbeing.
Thank you to all the people who have helped me along the journey, I honestly wouldn't be where I am today without them. I couldn't be anymore grateful.
